Reflection - Software troubles ( week 5 )

This week I used a software called premiere pro , it was a software that I am very familiar with it had all the effects and transitions I needed to use for my short film the reason I decided to use it again is because it was the software I trusted the most to use and I know I would be able to use it correctly , the only thing I had trouble doing is creating a suitable title for my short film , I just ended up typing it with the font , I could of really used aftereffects to make a better title . Another thing that was actually quite challenging was getting the audio in time with the footage because I recorded some on the microphone and some on the camera audio so that was very hard because some of the audio wasn't there and like I said in a previous reflection that I had to record certain things again because it just wasn't working . Reflection - Case study ( Week 2 )

This week I did my case study based on all the contextual research I did , my case studies were generally about the short films I thought would help me make my own , they were of quite professional standard , my case studies were easy to evaluate because I broke it down into different components such as editing , camera work , movement , mise en scene. I ended up doing tow case studies one was about a short film called Drawn out and the other was about audience research , the reason I did these particular case studies is because I thought it would help me know how to create my own project with a little inspiration from the case study , I just general based my case studies off of my contextual research and from there I knew exactly what I was writing about . Evaulation (On Everything ) 23rd May

My final project is called The life behind the mask its a short film about gang violence and knife crime , this was overall created by many things which includes case studies , contextual research , audience responses and technical skills , it was produced within a space of 9 weeks of intense hard work starting from it first being a simple idea from my mind to it turning into a 5 minute short film , everything that I have produced has played a huge part in me creating such a intense project , I never thought it would be finished due to how bad I am with timing . 1. Reflection - On final Project

Overall I think my final project went really well because I managed to produce a fairly good short film , I only wish it looked better because personally I think I could of done much in better in terms of how it overall turned I believe that I rushed it in terms of shots angles and framing , I just took on too many roles but because I was by myself I think its ok , but I wish I had a better production plan , the editing for the short film could of been done much better in terms of transitions and structuring , instead of it looking like it constantly skipping I wanted it to flow like other films do , This project in comparison to the other projects that I have produced this was defiantly some of my best work , but because this was my first short film so I wanted my vision to bought to life but I don't think I did that because I don't think I put enough effort into this project , I was too focused on other things I should of spent way more time completing th...

Elliot Tobi plays the second main character he is like the villain in the short film he is the one that stabs the other main character , he is the leader a gang and he is defiantly out for revenge and will not stop at nothing until he see blood .
