Reflection - Production (17th April)

I made a production schedule , I planned a head for example I made a production schedule but then I lost that production schedule I didn't  no know what to write my reflections about or what I had done on the day which was a huge issue because when it came to writing my reflections I had to think about it from the top of my head , but in terms of production I believe it went really well because my filming was done in a space of 5 hours , I had a few problems with my script because the final product isn't done exactly how its said in the script because I wanted my short film to purely be based off of improvisation because I wanted that aspect of realism . In terms of production like finding my different locations were very hard because I didn't know whether I was actually allowed to be able to film there in the first because of rules and regulations I had to follow but I finally found a location that matched the concept of my film which happened to be two different locations that were easy to get to one was the forest called " the manor " the other place was a youth centre called  " my place" those were the location changes I made in terms of production . At the beginning I was following my production and keeping a schedule about what I did on that particular week but I think I said previously I lost where I saved it so I had to make a few changes to me making my short film because I couldn't particularly remember what I was actually doing on that week , when it came to casting and acting I had to ask a few last minute because my main character couldn't play the character anymore because the time that he was free I wasn't so I had a lot of character changes which was a huge problem because I had reassign roles and then everybody had to learn that particular role and I had to just play smart with it but then after I did , I made I change my whole character profile and casting list because it would confusing for example when I decide to do my credits for short film it would all make sense .


Production in general filming I spoke mostly about the first day of filming reflection but mainly I enjoyed filming because , like I have said previously it was my first short film the only thing I struggled with was directing because I was making all the decisions so everyone was looking to me for guidance but sometimes I didn't even know what I was doing because the fact that I had to reassign everyone's characters were confusing me on the actual day of filming , it was all a lot of pressure because I was taking on a lot , camera operator , editor producer and director so it was all a lot for me but I got through the day despite all the minor setbacks , for example the camera not working at the beginning , my microphone broke so I had to result in using the camera audio and knew that would be horrible for me because I would have to sort out the audio levels .
